I'm a 20-something Lifestyle and Wellness Coach and Speaker. Oh, and a Board Certified, Associate Professional Counselor . . . and full-time PhD student. Whew!
My purpose in life is to journey with others toward total health and healing. This includes mental, physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual health.
I care about wellness because, well, I’ve been unwell.

My wellness journey began after I went through a divorce in my early 20s. My life came crumbling down around me. I ate frozen foods, lots of french fries, and candy to get me through each day. At the same time I was paralyzed with anxiety and grief.
When I started my PhD program, I knew something had to change. I was tired, deflated, and not living FULLY. As a student, I’d always worked two or three jobs at a time, and I thought I didn’t have time for self-care, fitness, or a purposeful life. I tried so many things. Nothing stuck. I felt isolated, alone, and exhausted.
And then, it was time for a change.

I signed up for Beachbody’s “80 Day Obsession” to build community and make a change. I stuck to my at-home plan, and I got results. Amazing results. The surprise was that my biggest results were mental and relational.
As someone who ran half-marathons, competed in triathlons, and taught yoga, I had never seen results like these. For the first time, I believed I could do anything. I believed that I could commit to this and I wanted to help others feel these mental and physical gains. I wanted to encourage other, busy women and men, who feel like they can’t put themselves first. So I started coaching and sharing my wellness journey with others.
Now I coach men and women on their own fitness and wellness journey. Along with my counseling business, I strive to educate others about the importance of mental health and overall wellness.
