I recently heard on a podcast that reading is the number one habit to cultivate in your life. Why? Because if you have a love for and a regular habit of reading, you’ll be able to solve whatever problem you have.
Think about it. If you want to know how to eat healthier, you can read about it. If you want to know how to make more money, you can read about it. Reading and research are key habits in order to live purposeFULLY.
I’ve always been an avid reader, and I’m asked all the time if I ever read for “pleasure.” When people ask this, I think they mean murder mysteries or fantasy novels. However, I read for pleasure all the time! Books that I read for pleasure just happen to be self-improvement books (ha!).
